Does anybody remembers the Mandarin Steak entree at Man Fook Low in downtown L.A.? This had to be one of the most spectacular tasting beef dishes that Ive ever experienced. Ive been trying to find the recipe for this beef dish ever since, but have been unlucky so far. It consisted of specially marinated medallions of beef served over a bed of lettuce and tomatoes. Perhaps its not quite so unique, but I havent tasted anything quite like it since. I really do miss this Old L.A. eatery, as they really had dishes that couldnt be found anywhere else.
