I pack simple bean & cheese quesadillas for my 3 and 6 yr olds a couple of times a week, but I hate that the supermarket whole wheat tortillas have either lard or partially hydrogenated fats, and the Whole Foods ones are just expensive. Is this worth trying at home? Do they keep for the week? Any tips?
I'm also wondering about homemade refried beans for the same reason... though I fear that I've gotten them so used to the canned variety that they won't accept homemade!
