Madsen-Scandinavian S Ken

Paprikaboy | May 21, 200903:39 AM

Newish Scandinavian rest in S Kensington.
Herring platter; the herring was a litle flabby in texture but the marinades were very subtle and not overly acidic, especially good was the maderia. The accompanying ryebread was excellent ,nutty and not too dense.
Washed it down with a Danish India Pale Ale. Very passable subtle floral notes but maybe not hoppy enough for my taste.
Very good value ,platter was only £8. Would recomend if in the area for a change from the French/Italian/Asian places around.
