I just had Ma Po Do Fu at the Flushing Mall's food court. $3.50 for Ma Po Do Fu over rice with house soup and some pickles. It was one of the best $3.50 meal in NYC. Ma Po Do Fu was sensational!! Ma Po Do Fu is the most popular (and common) chinese food in Japan. However, in the U.S., it's kind of hard to find good Ma Po Do Fu. I've had several good Ma Po Do Fu in NYC, but this Flushing Mall food court's szechuan specialist's Ma Po Do Fu is in my opinion, best ever. It's filled with flavor of ginger, garlic, scallion and szechuan hot oil. It's so tasty, spicy and hot, but not crazy hot like in some szechuan restaurants.
Any other decent Ma Po Do Fu do you know?
