We had lunch today at Le Relais in (or near) Great Falls. Me: mesclun salad with herbes and seared sea scallops wrapped in proscuitto (sp?). Mom: chicken with tomatoes and baby artichoke hearts. All dishes were excellent and confirmed my initial opinion (based on one dinner a couple of months ago) that this is one of the better places in the DC area. (And not a bad lunch value, either: entrees on the menu averaged around $14 - $16 and topped out at $21 (for filet mignon)). One small gripe: they are very aggressive in pushing the daily specials. Still, I'm sure I'll be eating there regularly in the future, as Mom is moving into an assisted living facility in "Potomac Falls", which I always thought was called "Sterling". But what do we DC types know about NVA?
