Lunch vs. Dinner

KateMW | Apr 13, 200812:28 PM

Well, as I start to plan our trip (waaaaay in advance, I know) to NYC in August, I'm realizing that we're going to be eating all the time! Must start to diet now! We'll be there August 6th-13th, but have a couple of nights where we have to do special events. I have a huge list of places I want to try, but only so much time. I know that I can't do dinner at all of them, but there are bound to be places that are better for dinner VS. lunch or the other way around. I know that I want to do Per Se for dinner, but that's basically the other one I'm sure of and am open to suggestions if I missed something on my list. We're going to dinner at the Bar Room at the Modern on Saturday night after a party at MoMA. So here are the places we want to go...I don't think we can do all of them, so if you think something is a must do, please let me know.

Per Se
Shake Shack
Gramercy Tavern
Babbo/Del Posto
A Voce
Eleven Madison Park
Sushi Yasuda
Balthazar-we're hoping to do a late lunch of champagne and the seafood tower
Bar Room @The Modern
Norma's ~we're staying there, so we figure we should try it once.
Craft or CraftSteak
Four Seasons~We thought about doing the pre-theatre dinner there if we go see A Chorus Line or lunch during my husband's meeting. My mother ate here during her first trip to NYC and hasn't ever forgotten it.

I can't find my list, so that's all I can remember off the top of my head. Where else should we go?
