My sis and BIL got us (and them) very good tickets for the Nutcracker and we'd like to treat them to a nice meal. The problem is, it's the noon matinee on New Year's Eve day. Which means the meal will be a late lunch (2:00 or 2:30) on a quasi-holiday geared to late dinners.
My first thought was Estia which, if I believe Open Table, is open and available at that time. But I thought I'd look for other suggestions. We'd like to stay within a few blocks of the Academy.
ETA: Ooops, forgot to mention no BYOB (don't want a bottle to warm up during the performance).
