Lukas: Belgian Beer and Fatted Calf Charcuterie

The ChowGods, in their infinite wisdom (no sarcasm intended) asked me to repost this with a less "promotional" slant.

I am delighted to learn that Luka's Tap Room in Oakland is going to start holding a Belgian Beer tasting every Tuesday. To kick off the series on November 8th, they will be pairing Belgian Beers with Fatted Calf Charcuterie and Alameda Cheese Works cheese. Cost for the pairing is a very reasonable $20.

I am sooooo excited, this is one of the best pieces of Chow News I've heard in ages. Perhaps I'll see you there (we are a couple of white, twenty somethings. I've got a beard and you can recognize the Mrs. by her big, curly, blonde hair. Drop by and say hi if you see us.) I'll be back with a full report after the event.
