Stopped off at Lou tonight to give the place a try. I think I have found a new regular spot. I live in the area and frequent The Hungry Cat and Magnolia and Lou is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. Interior has an almost bay area feel to it, I can't think of any place quite like it in the vicinity. Sampled a wonderful glass of wine recommended by Lou and their main course tonight which was a slow roasted Lamb with beans that was excellent with a great homey feel to it. Like eating over at your friends house who is the best cook you know. The main course is rotated every couple days and they plan to keep it seasonal with coq au vin and fish stews as the weather heats up. Saw a lot of the appetizers and they all looked quite good. Can't wait to try the "Pig Candy", which looks like a carmelized spiced crispy bacon. Prices are very reasonable for both the food and wine and the staff was very friendly. A winning combination. I think I will certainly be back many times.
