Lotus Root dishes

I am a big fan of lotus root. When I get a craving for it, I usually cook up a simple soup with lotus root simmered with beef shank and maybe some ginger for taste, as its only ingredients (Dad's recipe). I remember once having a dish featuring lotus root stewed with braised beef, perhaps cooked in a clay pot - The beef was deliciously tender.

Can anyone tell me the chinese name of this dish and where I might be able to find it or other dishes with lotus root in the Bay Area?
