London - Indian, Borough and Tea Qs

CulverJack | Jun 15, 201507:26 AM

I'm an LA hound visiting London and while we're mostly set thanks to great posts and info on CH, I have a few questions I can use help with. We're staying in Kensington, herded in with all of the other tourists to make life easy for you Londoners.

For great mid priced Indian, I think I've settled on Indian Zing, for a good mix of spicy and mild, high quality cooking. ls there somewhere else that should be on my list for this? The 1 stars seem a bit $$ for what we want for this meal.

Also, for afternoon tea, we're considering the Orangery at Kensington palace, Dean Street, or Orange Pekoe. Advice in these? I think we're more into traditional with great scones over a big hotel experience.

Last, what's great and interesting in Borough Market right now?

Thanks in advance for your help London savvy folks!
