Don't let the name or location fool you!

A friend calls me and said they had seen an ad for "authentic" chinese food in Aventura. I looked at the menu online and saw a few things not on the usual Americanized menus you see around.

First off if your not looking for this place you will never find it... Tucked into the back of the Loeman's Plaza South of the rear of the Puplix's in a storefront thats part of the Venture!

I go in @ 1:30 in the afternoon only 1 table going strike one.... Nice new large and clean.

I ordered the Singapore Noodle soup.... Sorry that's not a soup its a curry noodle dishes and soup dishes in same column. Strike 2 The waitress insists that it is confusing and says they will make it for me but chicken stock not curry stock and how hot do you want it.... I say very hot knowing Florida it means mild with a hint of flavor.

While waiting for my soup I am served their homemade fresh noodles with mustard and duck sauce... not my thing but one of the best.

My soup comes out... first impression wheres the soup and noodles.... they are there just loads of stuff on top.

This off the menu noodle soup turned into the best Shanghai Noddle soup I ever had. When I was done Erika my waitress told me they usually do not throw the baby Bok Choi and veggies in the curry but they did in my soup. Loaded with Whole sugar snaps, 2 types of mushrooms carrots water chestnuts, shrimp chicken and shrimp I could barely finish the bowl (they did not charge extra(12.95) and I'm a 300 pounder that gets paid not to go to buffets.
