Lip Service ... Do you pay lip service to your food?

ipsedixit | Nov 22, 201005:06 PM

Do you eat with your lips?

That is, when eating with a fork, and after you've brought it to your mouth, do you use your lips to remove the food and withdraw the fork from your mouth?

Or, do you go lip-less, and use only your tongue and your front teeth to remove the food from the fork?

I'm not asking about trying to keep your lipstick in place.

Rather, I'm wondering if people consider the lips part of the eating experience?

I was watching a recent episode of Bizarre Foods and Zimmern seems to always eat his food lip-less in that he removes the food (and fork) from his mouth using only his tongue and front teeth.
