Who knew? My wife and I went to Artistry on The Green in Lexington last week. I had never heard of the place before, had never seen it on a list of Lexington restaurants. It's in the Inn at Hastings Park, Mass Ave.
We went for lunch on a rainy Thursday. Nice fire in the fire place. We shared an arugula salad, arugula with walnuts and dried cranberries, lightly dressed. Very good. My wife ordered the fish and chips. Lightly battered, very good. I had a cup of clam chowder. Thin, the way I like it, not the goopy thick stuff the tourists like, but a traditional thin Down East chowder. Very good. I also ordered the mezze platter. Tzatzaki, hummus, feta cubes and black and green olives. Just right for a light lunch.
Very good service, very good overall. We'll be back.
