Lesson Learned - Cassis and the Pink Door

Claymoney | Aug 26, 200412:04 PM     4

If only I had read Chowhound before venturing out for dinner last night.

I went to Cassis (for the first time), having heard rave reviews, only to find it closed up.

Outstanding Le Pichet was booked.

So I went to the Pink Door instead. Let me discourage anyone from going there in the future. The Pappardelle Bolognese pasta was mediocre -- and that's being nice. The ceasar salad, priced at a whopping $8.50 was tasty in some respects but way over garlicked. Extreme prices for lacking service and food.

Lesson learned--read Chowhound before leaving the house!
