Lee's Sandwich at San Jose (Banh Mi, etc)

Han Lukito | Jan 18, 200310:58 PM

This place is loaded with Vietnamese goodies at very reasonable prices. All kinds of things from sandwiches to dessert can be found here.

Sandwiches: the grilled pork sandwich was great. Tasty pork for sure. The carrots, cucumbers and the radish? pickles are crunchy and delicious. The special bread was charged extra $0.25 - crunchy outside and soft inside.

Steam table: I ordered 2 items with rice for like $3-4 and they are excellent ! I got the fatty bacon marinated in spices. A bit sweet and spicy. Just delicious. The other item was fish marinated in some kind of soy sauce. The fish is fresh and delicious.

Small deep fried rice paper roll with crab/shrimp fillings: crunchy and the fillings are great. Only $0.25 each.

Cream puff pastry is not that great. Skip that.
