Are there uses for leek greens?

Most recipes call for the white parts of leeks, but it seems like such a shame to throw the entire other half of the vegetable away.

Does anyone use them for anything? Can I at least freeze them for future use in a vegetable stock, or does it not work well for some reason? Any and all suggestions appreciated.
