My gf and I had our 2 year anniversay dinner, last night, at L'ecole. It was a truly wonderful experience and I recommend it to anyone in search for a great low cost meal. L'ecole is part of the french culinary institute and the food is cooked by students and I believe the students are the wait staff as well and were so pleasant.

They offer a 5 course meal for $29.95 and EVERYTHING was spectacular, we have not one complaint. The menu changes daily. For our first course, my gf had a endive, beet and walnut salad and I had a shellfish ministrone, both were delicious. For the second course we both chose the salmon in mushroom/wine sauce. The third course I had the filet of beef and she had the veal. My filet melted in my mouth, it was unbelievable. Then they give you a basic salad and then the dessert. We had one of each for dessert and shared. Chocolate covered pears with ice cream on the side with shaved almonds and a cranberry/raspberry tart with accompanied by a sorbet....we oooo'd and ahhhh'd through that course.

the daily menu's are listed on their website and change every 6 weeks.
