Lebanese in the East Bay

Glenn J | Apr 8, 2006 06:23 PM

One of my ancestors came from Lebanon (actually it was Syria around 1900).

When I was much younger, one of my cousins made stuffed grape leaves and I did not care for it. Now, I am ready to try Lebanese cusine.

Can anyone supply a recommended restaurant, hopefully south of Berkeley? I know that kibbeh, tabooley hummis and rice are popular dishes, but does anyone have other recommendations?
