I was in my local grocery yesterday, replenishing my home espresso supply. I like Lavazza when I have it at shops and DON'T want Starbucks. But here is where I got confused:
There was a can of Lavazza that specified 100% Arabica (8.8 oz can). It was $6.49.
Then I noticed there were three different vacuum-packed Lavazzas, still 8.8 oz, varying in price from $4.99 to $6.99. There were different pictures on each packet but nowhere on the packaging, could I figure out what the difference was in the coffee contained therein. None of them told me if the coffee was Arabica or some other style of bean. Two of the package pictures were simple cups of espresso while one of the packages showed a latte.
(I bought the can, BTW).
