Large vs. XL Eggs in recipe...

I'm planning on making this biscotti recipe posted on Serious Eats:

It calls for 2 extra large eggs. I routinely keep only large eggs in the house (and indeed, unless otherwise specified, large eggs are the default for most recipes, so I found this specification strange.) A large egg will routinely weigh in at about 2 ounces, while an extra large averages 2.25 ounces.

Will 1/2 an ounce deviation in the recipe really make much of a difference?

I'm inclined to just go for it with only 2 large eggs and see.
