Anyone have a very tasty, tried and true recipe for lamb shanks out there?
I've only made them once. And it was an utter disaster of a recipe. My instinct told me it sounded wrong but I made it anyways. Of course, that was the first meal I ever cooked for my likely in-laws and they pretended to like it which made it even worse.
So, I have avoided the shanks for the last year trying to erase that horrible memory. But I feel I am doing these delicious looking pieces of meat a disservice.
