Laguna Niguel Saturday Brunch/Lunch Recs Needed

revets2 | Aug 31, 200610:14 PM     8

we're going to meet my SIL and our teenage niece and nephew for lunch/brunch on saturday. my husband and i are wanting to go to Dolce Vita Gelato on Town Center Drive in LN to close our summer quest for great gelato afterwards. Then we proceed to San Clemente for labor day festivites.

we'd prefer not to go to laguna beach. would also like to avoid going to dana point/monarch bay, then tripping back back to gelato in LG, then double-back again to san clemente.

any recommendations? Savannah looks like it's only open for dinner. SIL noted TGIFriday's, but i'd rather not. doesn't need to be gourmet, but good chow is always appreciated.

thanks in advance for your help!
