Located in Safeways parking lot, this is an outpost of the Taqueria La Tapatia (16632 Hwy 116, 707-869-1821) a couple blocks up the road. There are a couple picnic tables to eat on the spot. I was lucky to step up to the window just as some freshly made and steaming hot tamales were being delivered. The very smooth and soft masa (probably Maseca) was filled with plenty of pork chunks braised with tomatoes and peppers. The tamale was then topped with a very hot and spicy orange colored chili sauce. Awfully good for a buck. I also had a taco de lengua, $1.50, which had mostly tender and buttery cubes of tongue with cilantro and onions napped with the same hot sauce. The foods good here and worth a stop.
