Last Saturday, my husband and I went to La Posada in Clovis. We were quite charmed by the homey decor and the friendly people that work there. I had a chicken enchilada that had a great red sauce that had a lot of flavor and depth...more than just the usual tomato sauce. The accompanying beans were also quite good. My husband had the Art's burrito, which is their chile verde burrito with sour cream and guacamole. My husband did enjoy the burrito, but felt that is wasn't anything spectacular. Overall, quite a nice place to eat, but nothing mind-blowing.
Did we miss some great specials by eating at lunch? Any opinions on La Posada would be helpful, since several people seem to enjoy eating there. I was just wondering if we ordered the wrong things.
