Four of us had a very enjoyable meal at this place last Saturday. It's a Columbian restaurant, and I can't speak to questions of authenticity, but I can say that we all found the food delicious and well prepared. Also, the atmosphere is great--it's a cozy and comfortable place, painted in warm colors, that feels just upscale enough for a special night out. The entire staff was warm, gracious and helpful.

We shared a few appetizers: outstanding mushroom stuffed empanadas, arepas that were delicate and crisp, and some very nice tamales off the specials menu. I had arroz con camarones from the regular menu, which was flavorful and contained a generous amount of plump shrimp. My companions had duck and tilapia from the specials menu. The duck was perfectly cooked in some sort of smoky preparation. For dessert we shared fresh figs with ice cream. They had a good selection of beers, and a wine list. We are all looking forward to returning.
