La Cuchara is by far the best of the Wolf/Foreman empire/derivatives/step-children. Located at Clipper Mill in the too-flooded plain in LoHa, it delivers quite good Basque (from both sides of the FR-SP border) food and wine.
Since I'm Paris based at John Talbott's Paris, it's a delight for me to find unpretentious, not terribly over-priced (246.84$ for four with two bottles of wines, one cocktail and one beer - no bottled water nor coffee) food when I come back to visit family.
We had a variety of pinxtos (good sausage and manchego for instance), fish (turbot), beef steak and duck confit (all beautifully sourced and cooked with crispy outsides albeit a bit oversalted) and four kinds of excellent house-made breads and desserts.
A good review from a few weeks ago by the Sun's (relatively new and wonderful food critic) Richard Gorelick, is at http://www.baltimoresun.com/entertain...
