Kosher Gourmet on Bathurst - Open for Passover

I have been totally spoiled over the Passover holidays...we moved into my boyfriend's brother's house and ate like queens and kings....then we went home on Monday night...rude awakening! There was little food to prepare meals... Thank G-d for the care package that we went home with as it covered us for the following day's lunch. More food was needed to get us through to the end of Passover though...

It is for this reason that I found myself at the Kosher Gourmet yesterday....

I chose three items; chicken with a mushroom sauce, stir fried zuchini (with fabulous crispy onions and some red peppers mixed in too!) and a potato dish that I had never heard of before - weird name but excellent taste! Everything was well seasoned, the quality was very good and the food tasted fresh. I was very impressed.

In the past, any prepared foods that I have bought were (imho) overpriced and underspiced with too much oil/grease. This was a very pleasant surprise. If I am ever stuck again, I know where I will be going!
