kosher foie gras and bloc de foie gras

Jerome | Apr 21, 2003 07:52 PM

I recently bought a bloc of pure goose pate de foie gras with a hekhsher (there were bits of goose meat flecking the liver). It was pretty good. I bought it at a Hungarian deli in Burbank, CA.
I don't know if you'll here back from the distributor, I tried emailing them and the emails aren't delivering. But there's a link posted.

This isn't a spam or a push for them. I just know it's hard to get some of these things which were traditionally available for people observing kashrut. Rashi decried foie gras so it's been around for a while.

On another subject, the French kasher l'pesakh butter came in a few weeks ago. It's A.O.C. poitou-charente and it's really good.
