Korean Walnut Cakes

Just got back from Toronto, where a friend took me to the city's Koreatown area. While there, she introduced me to something really, really wonderful: walnut cakes. They're little balls of dough formed in walnut-shaped molds, filled with various combinations of red bean paste, mashed potatoes, and walnuts. Six for $1.25, addictively delicious, plus the machine that makes them as amazing to watch, sort of like a Willy Wonka contraption.

My Toronto friend said, "You must have these in New York too, right?" But I'd never seen them before. Do we have them here?

Fingers crossed,
