Kloby's BBQ in Woodlawn

ken | Dec 9, 2004 07:52 PM

This is the real deal pure and simple. The pulled pork is quite good. It would pass muster in Dixie any day. The BBQ beef is just as good as the pork. I like a pit beef as much as any Baltimore guy but let's be real Kloby's low and slow turns out a more tender and flavorful product. The grilled sausage is just plain right, and the three meats can go head-to-head with Red, Hot and Blue anytime. Moving on to the sides, they are just as good as the meats. The greens match the best I have had down in Carolina and Florida. The baked beans are flat out the best I have ever had. The cole slaw is also outstanding. The potato salad doesn't quite match the rest but is still above average. I hope folks in Catonsville, Woodlawn, and other parts of the Baltimore metropolitan area support this place the way folks in Laurel support Red, Hot & Blue.
