My son, 7 years old, is being admitted for a bone marrow transplant in mid April. We couldn't fit in a Make a Wish trip beforehand, and once the oncology department was finished making appointments, we only have a four day window for a trip. After lots of planning, we're staying in Kissimmee and going to Legoland (he loves Legos!).
The plan is to arrive Friday, do the Legoland park on Saturday, the Legoland waterpark on Sunday, and the resort pool on Monday. This will be perfect for him, as he won't be able to be in a pool during the entire summer. I want the whole trip to be perfect, so I want help finding the perfect places to eat out.
He's a super adventurous eater (he makes cooking videos when he makes us dinner every Tuesday night), and he loves eating out. He's very well behaved at restaurants; we always get compliments. We need places to eat in Kissimmee on Saturday and Sunday night. We may just eat at the park for lunch, but if any one has lunch suggestions near Legoland, we're willing to leave for lunch.
Price isn't important, and I'd like at least one option that would seem "fancy" to a seven year old. He especially loves seafood. Please help me make this the best quick trip ever! I want him to think back on this trip during the rough days and smile.
