I am in Istanbul and bought a cheap kind of rice I found on the shelves here, called "Kirik Pirinc", which translates as "broken rice" (according to google translate). It kind of look like these smaller, well... broken pieces of rice grains. The rice was for a dog who now doesn't need it, which is why I got so cheap. Anyone know what this kind of rice is for? And what I could use it for? Maybe it's for kids porridge? I'm just imagining :)
Thanks for any ideas!
