I tried King's Palace at Dale and Maryland for the second time because Kathy Jenkins recommended it so highly. When I ordered more carefully (I had gotten some misfires last time), the food was excellent if a little pricey (58 dollars for three entrees and two beers). It is Cantonese style, and probably the best I have had here in that style. We had the Fried Walleye with spicy sauce, Flower Chives with garlic sauce, and Mao Po Tofu (the last not on the menu and not truly Cantonese but Szechuan). The food was well up to the standard of the best Cantonese places in New York City. One warning, and I am serious about this: call ahead. Most Saturdays the place is closed because it is rented for a private party.
