Kim Loan (Fullerton)

Å tip of the hat to the OP for our very tasty dinner at Kim Loan.
-We are apparently clueless and map-reading challenged from San Francisco living - our 49 square miles rendered us unprepared for door-to-door driving in OC. Who knew that when our hosts directed us to meet them in Huntington Beach from Cypress and said it was just a few minutes drive - that we'd be on an excursion?
-This was a 4-day wedding celebration of catered dinners, picnics, and breakfasts with blended families and friends from Nicaragua, Poland, France, and Seattle, San Francisco, Portland, Chicago, Orlando, Boston, St. Louis - and a very wonderful time together.
- We found ourselves on our own with a 2-car caravan and in need of good, simple neighborhood fare late on Sunday night. Kim Loan was the "perfect chowhound tip" for this group -one diner with food allergies to lemongrass, citrus, peanuts - while the rest of us were anxious to sample the entire menu. We ordered the bbq beef#69, the shrimp and egg noodle soup#21, the pork meatballs and rice noodles, the salty shrimp and pork casserole, and chicken and vegetable#119 - for $37+tip. What a feast of Vietnamese food! Thank you!
