Kid's birthday cake

Sheryl | Apr 11, 2002 07:51 PM

Any suggestions for where to buy a really tasty, not too expensive birthday cake for a child's party? Last year, we used Porto's. Guava filling. It was delicious and so cheap, but the decoration left much to be desired. The year before we used Rosebud which was beautiful and delicious but quite pricey. The year before that we tried Hansen's, which was my least favorite. Not so good tasting and expensive. The party will be in Hollywood, but we're willing to travel to the valley, downtown or the westside for a great cake.
Oh, one more thing, although I am a chocolate fanatic, our daughter didn't inherit those genes, so we're looking for the best white or yellow cake around.
