Hi all. I recently purchased the KA set with the pasta roller, spaghetti cutter and fettuccine cutter. This was my first time making homemade pasta. I understand there are many variables that impact taste/texture. What I was concerned about was the cook time. Most recipes I see state that the pasta should cook for 2-3, sometimes 4-7 minutes for al dente. Mine cooked in probably 30 seconds, maybe less. I rolled half of my dough to the 5 setting, and the other half to the 6 setting. It almost seemed like it was overcooked, but there was still the toothsome middle. Does this seem right? 30 second cook time for fresh pasta rolled to the 5-6 setting? Thanks.
