I am looking for a stollen recipe that I believe was in The Joy of Cooking. What I remember was that it called for golden raisins, citron and orange peel that you soaked for a day in brandy. Called for bread flour, lots of cold butter that you cut into the dough, eggs, almonds and lemon peel. No spices like cardamom, nutmeg, etc., no marzipan. My new Joy of Cooking doesn't have the recipe I am familiar with. Any help would make my Christmas merry! Thanks.
