Another lovely meal on Friday night in celebration of my wife's birthday. A delicious wild mushroom and gueyer, (sp?) quiche amuse to start followed by one Wild Mushroom Sandwich for her, (which is what she has started with the last two times we have been there) and the Bobo Farms Foie Gras for me followed by Kansas City Filet, (rare) for her and the Millbrook Farm Venison for me. We started out with Bloody Mary's, (still the best ones we have found) and I had a glass of Pinot Noir with dinner. Finally a Sticky Pecan Pumpkin Pie for me and a Chocolate Bread Souffle for her, (the clear winner between the two desserts). Damages were $168, plus tip.

Beyond the food I just want to once again commend Josie for having a beautiful, serene, grown up looking restaurant with a very reasonable signal to noise ratio and wonderful service, (starting and finishing with her husband, Frank who makes you feel very welcome).

This has become my choice for future event dining without any significant competition to challenge it.
