Jerusalem Restaurant

Hi, everyone. I'm going to be on W. 104 St. tonight, so I thought I'd go to Jerusalem Restaurant, one of my favorite falafel/shawarma places. But someone I know who lives on 104 St. tells me they're no longer good. I'm trying to find out from her when they deteriorated, but I also thought I'd ask you all whether you've found that to be true. The last time I went there was a few months ago, and I thought they were better than ever - just as tasty but less fatty and oily.

By the way, she recommended a new South Chinese place on 101 St. or so and Broadway, on the west side of the street. The last time I was on 101 St. was a few days ago, and my girlfriend and I went to Flor de Mayo, which was about as good as I remembered from the years I used to live on 97 St. or frequently visit my parents there. Is there a South Chinese place somewhere close to 101 St. that you like?

Jerusalem Restaurant,
Flor de Mayo
