Jersey Joe's has been (re) open(d) for roughly a week now. Finally had a chance to stop by for a combo! It was as expected.. awesome!
Glad to see the place is largely unchanged. It appears that one of the walls needed to be rebuilt from the Sandy damage, but the grill, counter, menu boards, etc, all appear to be the same.
I overheard him talking to some other patrons that he worked with his bakery to refine the bread recipe so now the bread is lighter, so now, there is no problem eating a whole double in one sitting. I personally agree that it is much improved!
Just figured I'd drop a note here for you other chowsters.
