I've been to Izakaya Yuzuki four times in the past couple months, and each meal has been delicious. Highly recommend following the recommendations of the waitstaff who are very knowledgeable. We have ordered many of the specials and all have been delicious.
I've worked my way through most of the menu, and there have been no clunkers. Favorites include: kakiage, obanzai (vegetables three ways), the house made tofu, any of the pickled vegetables, chicken meatballs, any of the kobe beef dishes, chawan mushi, grilled squid, pork belly.
The restaurant is in a location where several restaurants have failed before. I hope this place succeeds. It's great to have a non-sushi Japanese restaurant in the neighborhood serving food this nuanced and delicious.

They also told me they are using the Locanda valet for people who drive to the restaurant.
