Ok this isn't a question about a restaurant but I hope someone on this board can answer it!
I'm wondering what the differences are between Italian and French bread. Here in Sonoma County I have NEVER seen "Italian Bread" yet many sandwiches on the east coast use it. And I'm not talkin about Panino bread. From what I've seen it looks very similiar to French bread. Is there anywhere I can find genuine east coast-style Italian bread? I have yet to check Traversos (even tho they're my 2nd cousins). Please help!
Thanks In Advance,
