I used to be the proud owner of 10 years of back issues of Bon Appetit - from the early eighties through the early nineties, and lost them in a divorce.
I've been looking for two recipes from one of those back issues for years, with no luck. I'm hoping someone here might have the issue and can provide me with the recipes.
Bon Appetit published an issue whose main topic was Home Canning. The cover, from what I recall, had a dark background and a photo of three or four canning jars - each filled with a different recipes from that issue.
The two recipes I'm looking for from that issue are one for pickled (bell) peppers, and one for a hot and sweet pepper jam.
I know there are other recipes for those two items readily available on the internet, but I'd really like to find the two published in that issue of Bon Appetit.
I suspect the issue was published in the late 80's (based on my recollection of where I was living when I first made those two recipes), but I could be wrong. As I mentioned, I had back issues from the early eighties onward through the early nineties, so the issue could have been published at any time during that time period.
I did try writing to Bon Appetit twice (snail mail and email), but never received a response (and, the recipes aren't on Epicurious).
If anyone has this issue and is willing to post those two recipes, I'd be very much obliged!
