ISO best way to prepare NY steak

Tonight I found some NY strip steaks (bone-in) at my local market for $3.77 a pound...down from $8.99 per pound!!! They're USDA Choice and look great. I hardly ever buy these kind of steaks due to the cost. I want to surprise my family with an excellent meal tomorrow night...so what's the best way to prepare these indoors? I do have a grill pan. Should I marinate in liquid? Or do a dry marinade? Or nothing at all, just salt and pepper? All suggestions will be much appreciated!!!
