Given that many of the recent threads here are about searches for specific grocery products - tofu puffs, gluten-free flour, salted cultured butter and the like - allow me to add my own to-date-luckless search for a favourite. It's for Garden Fresh Jack's Special HOT salsa. The Garden Fresh product line of refrigerated salsas is, in my view, among the most flavourful commercial salsas at an acceptable price. There's mild, medium and hot - but mild and wimpy medium doesn't do it for me. It's hot that I crave, and, until about a year ago, I could easily pick it up at Longo's, Loblaws and other nearby markets. Now it's just mild and medium on display anywhere I go. No hot anywhere. A query to the Garden Fresh company in Michigan wasn't helpful. They simply don't know, they claim, and advised me to press store management to carry the product. (For all the good that'll do.) If anyone knows where a gentleman may find Garden Fresh Jack's Special HOT Salsa, I'd be eternally grateful. (According to their website, the company also makes Screamin' Hot, Restaurant Style Hot and Organic Restaurant Style Hot, but I've never seen those anywhere in Toronto.)

Your tips, please.
