Visiting friends and family in Chicago after a couple of years absence. My husband and I are having dinner on Satruday nigth with my sister (who lives in Evanston), my sister-in-law (who lives near Wrigley) and one of my friends (who lives in Hyde Park). We're looking to meet up somewhere in the middle for a place that's close to an el stop (preferably off the red line), okay for mediumish groups, reasonably priced, and most of all... has good food. I'm sure there are a million places that this describes, but having not lived in Chicago for many years, I really don't know. We're very flexible on type of cuisine.
Also, I'm looking for a chicago definition of reasonable. My husband and I as New Yorkers have a very different view, but we have two students in our dining group.
