Incanto - A couple of Focused Questions

Nathan P. | Mar 16, 2005 12:10 AM

I am finaly getting around to trying Incanto this weekend and had a couple of question for everyone.

I have read the past threads so no need to repost your old favorites but if anyone has been in the last month and had any standouts or misses I'd love to hear. I think the last post was Robert Lauriston's Valentines day report and from what I have read the menu changes frequently (except on their web site!). Also if anyone has recs for good value wines on the list I would apreciate that as well- I am hoping to try some less available varietals.

Also, I was hoping someone could give me a sense of portion sizes; are they comparable to A16? I would normally want to order a lot of courses to share but we are a party of five so that may not work as well. I assume a full size pasta or main would only be a couple of bites each if shared across a group of this size? I am guessing a range of antipasti for the table and letting everyone get their own pasta and main is the best option but if anyone has had success splitting more courses with a larger group I would love to hear- I am anticpating that I will want to order 2 or 3 pastas just for myself!
