Oh Chowhounders, don't fail me now! I've been tasked to find a restaurant for colleagues that meets the following criteria:
--Next Monday, May 2
--Early dinner (7 or 7:30 pm)
--Within a 15 minute walk of the meeting address (Avenue Georges Mandel, about 5 minutes' walk from Trocadero)
--Inexpensive (I'm thinking probably 50 euros a head, wine not included, maximum)
I'll be joining them, and I cannot bear the shame of herding them into a mediocre tourist trap. I don't know this neighbourhood at all; if geography were no constraint, I'd take them to any one of a number of my favourite haunts (Le Nom M'Echappe, L'Affriole, L'Antre Amis, L'Office, Les Saisons, Bistrot Belhara, etc., etc.), where I know we'd have excellent food, a pleasant ambiance, genial service and not SO many tourists.
But my hands are tied. Can you help me deliver the impossible?
