Idyllwild bound!

Mr. Taster | Sep 10, 200403:30 PM

Hi 'hounds!

Some friends and I are Idyllwild bound (next weekend, the 17th). I've never been there, though I have scouted the Temecula region a bit & cooked my own steak at "texas lil's" (I think that was the name) and bought some delicious raw milk Dutch cheese from the Winchester Cheese Company (see link)

But my question is this-- where can one find fantastic budget eats in this region? We'll probably go on a winery tour or two, but our price point is much lower than "wine country" food. We just want fantastic food of any cuisine, with a range of prices from $5 taquerias to let's say $18-$20 out the door dinners.

Also, we are not afraid to travel in the region to find a really spectacular place.

Thanks in advance for all your help!

Mr. Taster
